The instruments combine in a number of different ways, with gamba and harpsichord sometimes taking solo roles. Includes works from Telemann’s collections Essercizii Musici, Sonate Metodiche and Six Concerts et Six Suites.

Vivaldi Recorder Concertos & The Four Seasons sees the renowned UK-based Feinstein Ensemble, led by flautist Martin Feinstein, in period instrument guise for the first time on disc. The light, bright sopranino recorder concerto in C major contrasts with more serious and darker works for the alto/ treble recorder, in A minor and C minor.
