These instruments have proved very popular over a long period so you can be confident in their strengths as a solo instrument or in ensembles. Now Paetzold by Kunath instruments are produced by Jo Kunath and they keep on getting better. The model has been optimised repeatedly over the years to meet the increasing demands of professional players. Latest changes include  redesigned seals between sections, brass bearings within the key construction and new key pad material. The pads and bearings make for a much quieter key mechanism.
