The Paetzold by Kunath SOLO direct blow contrabass recorder is a highly regarded instrument. Made from Resona, a cellulose resin, the instrument is light weight and resonant. With the “Kunath Direct Blow” head joint  the instrument is intended to be played seated but is equally playable standing up using the telescopic floor spike.
